Tech Ringer AI LLC ("Tech Ringer AI," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Tech Ringer AI platform at techringer.ai and techringer.net. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our services.
By using Tech Ringer AI, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture through your chosen authentication provider (e.g., Google, GitHub, Discord, or email).
Tech Ringer AI is a multi-tenant platform. We store organization names, membership roles, and configuration data associated with your tenant.
Messages you send through Tech Ringer AI (including via Discord, Slack, Google Chat, SMS, or the web interface) are processed by AI models and may be stored for conversation continuity and analytics.
If you connect third-party tools (e.g., API keys, OAuth tokens), we store these credentials in encrypted form to execute tool actions on your behalf.
We collect analytics on feature usage, API call volume, LLM token consumption, and error rates to improve the service.
Tech Ringer AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
When you connect your Google account, we may request access to Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive depending on which services you enable. We use incremental OAuth scoping — we only request permissions for services you explicitly choose to activate.
Google data is accessed solely to execute AI-powered tool actions you initiate (e.g., searching your email, reading a document, creating a spreadsheet). We do not use your Google data for advertising, training AI models, or any purpose unrelated to providing Tech Ringer AI's functionality to you.
We store a single OAuth refresh token per tenant, encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. We do not permanently store the contents of your emails, documents, or files — data is fetched on demand when you invoke a tool action.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your Google user data to third parties, except as necessary to process your AI tool requests through our configured LLM providers (see Sections 5 and 6). You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your Tech Ringer AI settings.
Tech Ringer AI prioritizes your privacy in AI processing. We use privately hosted AI models for general communication and conversation handling. When additional model capabilities are needed, we fall back to privacy-focused providers such as Venice AI that do not retain or train on user data.
We employ automated redaction to strip sensitive information (such as credentials, personal identifiers, and financial data) from requests sent to AI providers. Sensitive data is only transmitted when explicitly required to fulfill a tool action you initiate (e.g., sending an email on your behalf requires the recipient address).
Tech Ringer AI allows you to configure your own AI providers and supply your own API keys. When you choose to use a third-party provider or API key that you have configured, the processing of your data by that provider is governed solely by your agreement with that provider. Tech Ringer AI makes no representations or warranties regarding the data handling practices of user-configured third-party providers, and assumes no liability for their processing of your data.
In addition to AI providers described above, we use the following third-party services:
Payments and subscriptions are processed by our payment provider (Stripe, Polar.sh, or Lemon Squeezy, depending on the product). We do not store your full payment card details. The payment provider handles payment data under their own privacy policy.
Tech Ringer AI runs on Cloudflare Workers (edge compute, KV storage, queues) and Convex (real-time database). Our privately hosted services, including AI models and observability tools, are located within the United States.
We use privately hosted LLM observability tools for tracing and performance monitoring. Request and response data may be logged for debugging and service improvement purposes. These observability systems are hosted on our own infrastructure and are not shared with third parties.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data:
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Conversation logs and usage analytics may be retained for a reasonable period for operational purposes.
Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, billing disputes).
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@techringer.ai.
Tech Ringer AI is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also notify you via email or an in-app notification.
